Today,
it is no longer a choice to select the green path for disposing of your redundant
furniture and IT – it’s a necessity. BCL has developed a series
of cost effective options to keep your organisation green.

DISPOSAL
OPTIONS
Environmental solutions are rarely the cheapest, however by working with UK
wide partners BCL has identified a number of environmental routes. The choice
is all dependent on the quality of your redundant office furniture. BCL can provide
a totally managed solution to sell, donate or recycle your unwanted IT and
furniture, relieving you of the time absorbing task.
It shouldn’t cost ‘the earth’.
CORPORATE
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
A key feature of BCL’s environmental service is to ensure that your
organisations CSR is maintained to your high standard. The public, your neighborhood
and your customers would expect nothing less of you. BCL will ensure that
each item will be traceable to its point of sale, charitable donation or recycling
destination. Clearly there are also PR opportunities to be gained by keeping
environmentally friendly.
We’ll keep everything above ground.
RE-SALE
OR CHARITY?
The best solution would be, of course, to sell or donate all your redundant
stock. BCL are able to offer some excellent deals on second hand furniture. It is also common for BCL to reduce the recycling burden by
inviting our trusted furniture dealers to assess purchase of a selection of
items at source, many clients donating the funds to a good cause. What cannot be sold
and is in a safe condition is donated to one of our nominated charities. See the green zone in our newsletter for case studies.
Do you have any old mobile phones ? if so please pass them on to shpsolutions who have a recycling partnership with the World Cancer Research Fund. Contact Janet Edmondson on 01524 580866 who will arrange free collection. For further information see http://www.wcrf-uk.org/fundraising/recycling.php
Even if it's old - it can sometimes be sold
A
CLEAR AUDIT TRAIL
Where disposal is the only option, BCL uses a number of recycling options,
including scrap metal dealers, wood chip companies and Greenworks. Whichever
option is necessary to complete the project, each part of the process is documented
and audited by our team, to ensure that your organisation has a complete audit
trail of the disposal option for each item. This can be retained by you should
an audit be needed in the future.
Clearly the most transparent solution.
